Why We’re Here
We exist to create safe, welcoming spaces for veterans, first responders, and their families — places where connection comes first and nothing is required of you. Our work centers on support through presence, shared experience, and community. We believe being heard, or simply being among people who understand, can make a meaningful difference.
What We Do
Fireside Chats are casual, in-person gatherings created by Fireside Chat Support Network for veterans, first responders, and their families. They are peer-led and community-based, meaning the space is shaped by the people who attend — not by a program or script.
Support Our Work
Your contribution helps us continue offering free, welcoming gatherings and community support across Texas. Every donation supports connection — meals shared, spaces held, and people showing up for one another.
About Us
A place to connect, listen, and not carry everything alone
Fireside Chat Support Network exists to offer something simple and human: a safe place to sit, talk if you want, listen if you don’t, and feel less alone. Based in Dripping Springs and serving communities across Texas, we support veterans, first responders, and their families through connection, presence, and community — without judgment and without expectations.
You don’t have to explain yourself here.
You don’t have to be “ready.”
You’re welcome as you are.
The impact we’re making — one connection at a time
Impact for us isn’t measured only in numbers. It’s measured in conversations that feel safer, moments of connection, and people knowing they’re not alone.
Through regular gatherings, community outreach, and volunteer support, Fireside Chat Support Network continues to create spaces where people feel welcome, respected, and supported.
Get Involved
Be part of something grounded in care
If you’re looking for a way to give back that’s rooted in compassion and community, we invite you to get involved. You don’t need special training — just a willingness to show up with respect and care. Together, we support one another and strengthen the communities we serve.
Stories of Connection
The most meaningful changes often happen quietly — through conversations, shared meals, and moments of understanding. These are the moments that shape our work and remind us why connection matters.
