Fireside Chats
Informal, peer-led gatherings centered on connection and presence
A welcoming place to gather
Fireside Chats are the core program of Fireside Chat Support Network. They are simple, in-person gatherings created to make space for connection — without pressure, expectations, or agendas. These meetings exist so veterans, first responders, and their families can spend time together in a relaxed setting. You’re welcome to talk, listen, or simply be there. All of it is okay.
Creating Safety
Fireside Chats are intentionally informal. There is no program to complete and no requirement to share. The environment is calm, respectful, and welcoming.
Supporting Choice
You decide how you participate. You can arrive late, leave early, speak, listen, or sit quietly. Participation is always optional.
Being Present
The focus is on presence and shared experience — not advice, instruction, or outcomes.
When & Where
Fireside Chats meet every Monday from 7:00–9:00 pm at:
The setting is relaxed and community-focused, designed to feel comfortable
and easy to enter — even if it’s your first time.

What to Expect
There is no agenda and no formal structure. Conversations unfold naturally,
and participation is always voluntary.
You’ll find people who:
And yes — dinner is on us. Sharing a meal helps make the space
feel welcoming and human.
What Fireside Chats Are — and Are Not
Fireside Chats are: Fireside Chats are not:
When professional or emergency support is needed, we encourage people to seek
those resources. Fireside Chats exist alongside them, not instead of them.
A Gentle Invitation
If joining a Fireside Chat feels like it might be helpful, you’re welcome to come by on a Monday evening. If you’re unsure, that’s okay too. Many people attend once just to see what it’s like. There’s no obligation to return. Come as you are. Stay as long as you like.
Reducing Isolation
Our intention with Fireside Chats is simple: to reduce isolation by creating regular, welcoming opportunities for connection. Sometimes that connection comes through conversation. Sometimes it comes through listening. Sometimes it comes through simply sharing a meal. All of it matters.
